Simpel Kopi in Bali

"We came across this place after visiting Uma Anyar Waterfall. The staff is absolutely fantastic. Kind, polite, despite not speaking fluent English the staff did their absolute best to deliver brilliant service, and showed so much enthusiasm that is really hard to forget (like running back to the kitchen to write down different types of coffee grind on a piece of paper in English as the waitress couldn’t explain what she was trying to mean, so cute). Food was delicious, though Balinese soup wasn’t spicy at all as I’ve been warned and I was CRAVING for something spicy (I guess I’m not white enough to feel the spice anymore, lol). Snacks were really good as well. Same goes for coffee, rich and aromatic. Desserts are on a whole different level. I tried their dadar gulung, I’ll not be lying if I say I was almost jumping like a child from excitement, so yummy. They also serve cereals with different creams (mango cream, for example), as well as French toasts and some other things. I have also bought their fine coffee grind, I paid 250k rupiah for 1kg, really good price if you ask me. Coffee costs about 200k for 200g at the airport, so if you are looking to bring coffee back home, either buy it here or any other local coffee shop. And one last thing, prices are really affordable, you wouldn’t get broke if you are on a budget (take notes y’all). Short summary: 10/10, must visit."

"The food is so delicious but the dose is small. We ordered some appetizer, main course and dessert. Dragon ball, hamburger and chicken steak with coleslaw. So tasty and yummy. The waitress are so kind and gentle. I highly recommend"

"This place is a hidden gem, Away from central Ubud, surrounded by only local restaurants and guesthouses. You just don’t expect this kind of a cafe in this area. Great coffee, great food, great atmosphere for a very decent price. The have a really nice garden and good wi-fi. The portion size is great. You can pay by card there, but you need the physical card, no contactless options."

"Nice little hidden gem! Doesn’t look like much from the outside but there’s a big backyard and the atmosphere is lovely inside. Reasonably priced, however portion is slightly smaller than expected. Had double shot Iced Caramel Latte and it’s perfect. Carbonara is yummy! Fried rice is alright, a bit too sweet for us. Friendly service. Definitely recommended"

"We were there four times during our stay in Kemenuh and we can honestly recommend it! The atmosphere is super chilled, the customer service is amazing and the food is sooo good The strawberry matcha, breakfast croissant, crispy honey chicken, and spring rolls were our favourites but honestly, everything we tried was delicious PS: The banana pancake was the best we’ve tried on Bali and we’ve tried a lot of them :)"
